Excellent place great spot in North Beach. Sitting inside can get quite noisy. But if you can score an outside table on a beautiful day, and just people watch is incredible. All the food is excellent and service is always been excellent. The burger with the side ravioli is the best way to go. The bone and ribeye also excellent with the side of Ravioli. share it with somebody, it's a big steak.
When we arrived, we got seated quite quickly at a nice table. The menu was very nice, with lots of variety. The service was quite quick, especially considering the amount of people. The atmosphere is also very good, and so is the location. Overall a very good experience would recommend.
An absolute North Beach classic! I’ve visited many times for both brunch and dinner. Dinner reservations are recommended, especially for larger parties, though the bar seats are usually available without one. The spicy rigatoni is hands down my favorite: so good! Brunch is also fantastic with big portions. The space is charming with cozy booths and a beautiful holiday setup during the holiday season. Cocktails in the back area are excellent, and service is always top-notch.
We came here dinner and to our surprise, we were seated right away. We were a party of 2. The food came out quite fast and it was excellent. My steak was cooked to perfection 👌🏽 🔥 The calamari didn't disappoint, as well as my partners pasta 😋
A jewel in the city! Best pasta in town hands down! The pasta was delicious and so were the drinks! We went at dinner time but had a reservation! It was crowded but so worth it! The environment was friendly even if close to the other tables. Service was good and we had a great evening. It was pricy and probably not the best for kids.

Some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had. Worried it was going to be a tourist trap but definitely was not disappointed. Had eggplant Parmesan, Veal Parmesan, Dungeness crab spinach and artichoke dip, with sides of spaghetti and meat sauce and fettuccine Alfredo. Everything was amazing. Best veal parm ever. Eggplant was sliced very thin. Sauces were amazing. Even the side spaghetti and meat sauce was delicious.

The veal piccata alone is worth the visit.
We visited Original Joe’s for a birthday celebration. The place was packed, which was great, it showed us that it must be good and even though they were busy the staff was tentative to us. they always made sure glasses were full and drinks were flowing. The food selection was great. We all got something different and we all really enjoyed our meals. We will definitely be back. It’s a San Francisco classic that’s a must try. We were able to go to a bar down the road while we waited for a table to get ready, plenty to do in the area, including a nice park just across the street. We were able to park just one street away which made for a nice stroll that was flat to the restaurant. I got the prime rib and we had a number of appetizers prior to eating. We really enjoyed ourselves. The restaurant was comfortable and well decorated and very clean.
There was a 1 hour wait. But they immediately made room for us in the VIP room as they opened it up due to being busy for the holiday weekend. Was a beautiful deep green small cozy quiet room in the back away from all the noise. We loved the room. I think if we were seated in the main dining or even bar area it would have been way too loud for my liking in a holiday. All our reviews: The fettuccine Alfredo was the best they’ve ever had. Grilled shrimp was great. The burger sandwich was really good, perhaps too large though. The veal parmigiana was incredible with Ravioli in the side, again too large for one adult man. My veal piccata was good, wish I ordered it as chicken piccata instead, may have been slightly over cooked, with a side of gluten free penne pesto was incredible! Everyone loved their dishes, everyone also took home about 1/3 of their meal, easy to say we could have all split dishes. I was not impressed by the fries or the cocktails at all, the garden basil martini wasn’t bad, but the dirty martini wasn’t good at all, I’ve have much better cocktails elsewhere.
